Edward J. Sedlacek joined Huck Bouma PC in 2004 and is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Banking & Finance practice groups.
Ed represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including business and commercial disputes, creditor’s rights, insurance coverage disputes, employment disputes, real property disputes, contested trusts and estates, construction and mechanics lien matters.
As part of the firm’s Banking & Finance Group, Ed also represents banks in litigation matters and workouts dealing with troubled assets as well as matters involving negotiable instruments and related warranties.
Ed has also handled numerous appeals in State and Federal Court securing several favorable opinions. In early 2013, Ed had the opportunity to argue before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago, Illinois.
Prior to joining Huck Bouma, Ed attended the law school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he also obtained his undergraduate degree.
Ed lives in Wheaton with his wife, Alissa, and their son Christian.
