Jonathan J. Fox represents clients in the areas of Corporate and Commercial Business and Transactions, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Transactions, Trusts and Estates, and Litigation (in the areas of Business, Transactions, Real Estates, Commercial Collections, and Domestic Relations).
Jonathan is a native of Chicago. He obtained his B.A. in Communications from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale College of Communications, as a double-major in radio/television and advertising. Jonathan received the Southern Illinois University College of Communications Award For High Achievement in 1986, and placed on the Southern Illinois University Deans’ List in 1987. Jonathan received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree in 1995 from the John Marshall Law School and is also licensed in Missouri.
Prior to obtaining his license to practice law, Jonathan was employed in the advertising and marketing industry, first in radio advertising sales, sales management and copywriting, and then as owner of a small public relations firm. He combines his marketing, public relations, and business ownership experience and entrepreneurial spirit with his knowledge and practice of law to bring his clients a unique and well-rounded perspective.
Jonathan resides in Palatine with his wife, Andrea; he is the proud father of two daughters, Hannah and Stephanie, currently attending college. Andrea is the Executive Director of the Hanover Park Chamber of Commerce and the owner of Image Design Marketing, Inc., which focuses on marketing, consulting, and the sale of advertising specialties.
Jonathan enjoys networking and teaching the art of networking, cooking, golf and poker.

Jonathan is an annual speaker at the winter conference of the Livestock Marketing Council of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. He was also a frequent speaker at Mid-Way Supply University, the educational arm of Mid-Way Supply, Inc., formerly the largest distributor of HVAC products and equipment in Northern Illinois, presenting to its distributors on such topics as commercial collections and independent contractors vs W-2 employees. Jonathan was also the keynote speaker on a webinar presented to the customers of AmCheck, a payroll company based in Schaumburg, Illinois, on the topic of independent contractors vs W-2 employees.
Associations: He is a Member in good standing of the Illinois, DuPage County and American Bar Associations. Jonathan was a Chartering Member in 1983 of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and remains a member in good standing. He is an Honorary Member of and Pro Bono Counsel for the Palatine Jaycees.
