Gordon Schwartz has more than 25 years of experience working with privately held businesses and their owners. He advises individuals and their families on a multitude of tax related issues. He has extensive knowledge in income tax planning, strategy, and compliance, Gordon addresses complex issues relevant to professionals and executives.
Gordon works with clients through all aspects of business development as they experience growth, develop new lines of business, acquire new companies, restructure debt, obtain financing, negotiate purchase and selling prices, and perform due diligence. He has been a featured speaker on panels regarding income tax and other matters affecting middle-market businesses.
Gordon works with multi-national and multi-state privately held businesses including senior living, manufacturers and distributors, professional service firms, real estate companies, franchisees and food processors. He works with both private equity held portfolio companies and family owned businesses.
Jennifer Johnson currently serves as a Vice President in the Corporate Advisory practice at BMO Harris Bank. Jennifer specializes in providing corporate finance advisory services to privately held businesses and family offices on a variety of topics, including mergers & acquisitions, ESOPs, and complex financing structures, among other corporate finance topics. She has over 8 years of experience in financial services and commercial banking.
Prior to joining the Corporate Advisory practice, Jen most recently served as an Associate within the Commercial Mid-Corporate group of the bank. In this role, she managed a portfolio of 20+ clients, acting as the primary touchpoint for nearly all credit and legal aspects. Jen joined BMO Harris Bank in 2012 through the bank’s Commercial Analyst Development Program.
Jen holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Aaron E. Ruswick is a shareholder of Huck Bouma P.C., with a practice focusing on business services, mergers and acquisitions; and trusts and estates. Such matters include business planning; tax and transactional matters; private letter rulings with the IRS; estate and gift strategies/planning; business succession planning; business disputes; and general contractual matters.
Aaron’s experience ranges from representing larger businesses on their transactional, contractual and operational needs to representing families in their legacy succession, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, and other generational transfers.
