Patrick Hurley recently represented a client in a nine-day divorce trial in DuPage County Circuit Court. The case involved a variety of complex issues, including contested child custody, dissipation of marital assets, the authenticity of an $80,000 promissory note, and the children’s educational model. During the pendency of the case, which lasted more than two years, the client’s husband was represented by five different attorneys.
Pat’s client was awarded primary residential parent status, despite the recommendation of the husband’s retained custody expert. Pat’s client likewise prevailed with regard to several claims of dissipation of marital assets, defeated the husband’s claim of a valid promissory note, and secured the client’s educational preference for the children.
Congratulations, Pat!
