David D. O’Sullivan has been with Huck Bouma since 1998 and became a Shareholder in 2006. Dave focuses on transactional matters and is the Co-Chair of Huck Bouma’s Corporate Practice Group.
Dave has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers and sellers in structuring, negotiating and documenting M&A transactions. Dave counsels clients in tax and non-tax aspects of entity selection, including C corporations, S corporations and limited liability companies. Dave also focuses his practice on providing general counsel to privately-held businesses with respect to their day to day needs, including shareholder agreements, LLC operating agreements, employment agreements and general business advice.
Following his graduation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dave attended law school at DePaul University in Chicago. During law school, Dave was selected to intern with the Honorable Judge Ruben Castillo.
Dave resides in Aurora, Illinois with his wife and 2 children and enjoys playing golf in his free time.
