Kevin J. Huck received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968 from Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned a Juris Doctor degree in 1973 from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law. After graduation, Kevin worked at a Fortune 500 Company in its Federal Tax research department and thereafter as a Trust Officer at a Chicago Bank.
In 1976, Kevin went into the private practice of law with the law firm of O’Reilly, Cunningham, Duncan and Huck, concentrating in the areas of Estate Planning, Real Estate and Corporate Law. In 1987, he formed his own law firm. He co-founded the law firm of Huck & Brisske, LLC with Heinz Brisske in 1999. Huck & Brisske provided high-quality estate planning services.
Kevin wound down his legal career just prior to the merger of Huck & Brisske, LLC and Huck Bouma, PC in early 2013. Today, Mr. Huck is happily retired from the practice of law, living in the Asheville area of North Carolina, and enjoying time traveling the world, hiking, biking, kayaking and skiing with his wife, Becky. He has three grown sons, with whom he remains very close.
