William J. Strons joined Huck Bouma, PC in 2002 and currently serves as the Firm’s Managing Shareholder. Bill represents closely-held business in their corporate and tax planning matters and is involved in all aspects of business planning. Bill regularly advises businesses and their owners on tax and succession planning, joint venture agreements, business structuring, employment contracts, and incentive compensation arrangements. He has extensive experience with limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and S-corporations.
In addition, Bill has represented numerous buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, including tax-free reorganizations and restructurings. Bill has wide ranging experience in managing all aspects of a deal from the initial letter of intent stage, through deal negotiations and due diligence, and up until closing. Furthermore, Bill also represents individuals in their estate and personal planning needs, including business succession planning, tax planning, and wealth preservation.
Bill is a frequent speaker for a variety of industry organizations, including the Midwest Business Brokers & Intermediaries group, the DuPage Bar Association and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Entrepreneurial Roundtable. Bill is a past chair of the DuPage Bar Association’s Tax Law Committee.
Bill lives in Naperville with his wife and his two children.
