Lawrence A. Stein, head of Huck Bouma’s litigation department, recently had an article published in The Brief, the online publication of the Appellate Lawyers Association.  The article, No Risk of Retroactively Validating Prior Void Orders when Submitting to the Jurisdiction of the Court After Final Judgment, resolved an intractable procedural issue that has festered in Illinois for decades.  Larry serves on the Board of Directors of the Appellate Lawyers Association.
