Fees are a function of the services we provide and the value you receive. Our goal is to meet, and ultimately exceed, your expectations. However, each client situation is unique and we try to tailor our fee structure to address that dynamic.

We believe strongly in value billing for our services wherever possible. We understand that nobody likes surprises, so knowing the cost of a particular service up front provides you with certainty. It also means that inefficiency in the delivery of our services will neither result in a higher fee, nor are we “encouraged” to do more, and therefore charge more, than is needed to accomplish your objectives. Finally, value billing leads to open communication with you, since you are encouraged to call us and discuss issues of concern, without the fear of being “nickel-and-dimed” for such conversations and activities. This, in turn, fosters long-term and satisfying attorney/client relationships.

We will be clear and open in discussing fees at the beginning of every new matter. Certain areas of our practice will utilize agreed value billing and others will work best with hourly billing. In some instances we will use hourly rates or methods as required by appropriate ethical or court rules. We try at all times to be completely transparent in the manner that a fee is calculated and billed, and will happily answer any questions you may have about our fees and any out-of-pocket costs that may be incurred in your representation.
