Matthew Schroeder is a Director in the Wealth Transfer and Estate Planning practice area focusing his practice principally on advising individuals and families on estate planning objectives that range from simple to sophisticated, centering around various types of trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and living wills. Matthew also has experience in assisting individuals and trusts with various federal and state tax-related matters.

Prior to joining Huck Bouma, Matthew worked at law firms located in Chicago and Hinsdale.

Matthew is involved in the local and Chicago communities through organizations such as DuPage County Estate Planning Council, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Big Shoulders Fund.

Matthew lives in La Grange Park. In his free time, Matthew enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Ashley, and his two sons, Henry and Harrison.
