On December 7, 2022, Huck Bouma Shareholder Aaron Ruswick will be a featured presenter at the Advanced Topics in Flow-Through Taxation Conference, hosted by the Illinois CPA Society. Aaron will be discussing the topic “Estate Tax Planning for S-Corporations and Partnerships.”
He will explore the use of S Corporations and Partnerships/LLCs in estate planning and examine the various issues to consider.

He will discuss working through various gift and sale strategies, how to prepare a company for gifting, grantor trust v. non-grantor trust issues, QSST & ESBT Elections, and how to blend a gifting strategy into a multi-generational succession plan for a closely held business.

Huck Bouma PC was pleased to sponsor a team walking in the Making Strides of DuPage event this year. This year, The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event was held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL.

Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and to raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease and to find it early when it’s most treatable.

Huck Bouma was able to exceed its fundraising goal and to date ranks among the top fundraisers.
