Mary Morrissey – Rotarian of the Year

Huck Bouma is pleased to announce that the Naperville After Dark Rotarian of the Year honors went to office manager, Mary Morrissey.

Mary served as Membership Chair and championed the club’s Adopt a Grandparent projects that helped so many local seniors.

Vaccines in the Workplace

On June 15, 2021, Huck Bouma senior director Brian K. LaFratta participated in the Naperville Chamber of Commerce panel discussion series entitled “Vaccines in the Workplace.”

The webinar discussion provided insights to employers regarding the legalities of requiring COVID-19 vaccines for their employees, guidance on incentive programs and other considerations regarding vaccinations.

Brian was joined by  Michael Carney, senior vice president of emerging issues at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation; Nate Hoke, Human Resources Specialist at Insperity; and Laura Garafolo, Employment Attorney, Laura Garofalo Law, LLC.

Aaron E. Ruswick – DCBA Lawyer of the Year

Huck Bouma is pleased to announce that shareholder Aaron E. Ruswick has been selected by the DuPage County Bar Association as the organization’s 2021 Lawyer of the Year.

He was officially recognized June 15, 2021, at a ceremony at Klein Creek Golf Club.
